Top 50? Or Top 5?

Top 50 in all comps, top 5 in the Premiership.

Mind you, the phrase "Pepe also moved up to joint fifth in the club's top ten for number of Premier League games played at the Etihad Stadium" sounds like he's in the top 5 to have played at City's new ground.

And the numbering of the Premier League appearance rankings is off, with no number 8. Riise should be 7, and Redknapp 8.

1. Jamie Carragher (473)

2. Steven Gerrard (394)

3. Sami Hyypiä (318)

4. Robbie Fowler (266)

5= Steve McManaman (240)

5= Pepe Reina (240)

6. John Arne Riise (234)

7. Jamie Redknapp (231)

9. Michael Owen (216)

10. David James (214)

Not sure about that in this instance.

If you have played the 6th highest total of games for Liverpool, then you are 6th on the list.

If someone wins a golf tournament, but three players tie for second place, then the next lowest receives 5th. because placings are awarded to the golfers, not the scores ( prize money shared out etc )

Debatable. I'm not completely sure.

Yeah, that's what I'm suggesting here too I think.

The list I posted was as it appeared, not what I suggested.

The list has now been amended and I will defend the way it's done all the way... it was just a typo earlier...
