Fixture congestion over xmas

Just looked at the very winnablebut tightly packed xmas fixture list. A real chance for us to gain ground but the experiences of keeping a settled side when we played Chelsea, Wigan and Stoke in 7 days shows we need to be resting people.

2 theoretical teams then, to alternate with :

Apart from the fact that the crap results against Wigan and Stoke had nothing to do with fatigue

(sigh)

It was a factor. Same team 3 times in 7 days. Not an excuse overall, but showed the value of rotation.

You only started this so you could play with that formation thingy

Don't judge me Macca. ;)

About as much movement as us away from home in those teams
