Old dears & shop doorways

What is it with old dears stopping in shop doorways. In the past 2 days I have had to go out shopping during lunch hour and it happened me 4 times in the 2 days and it so fucking annoying.

I'm doing my best to get to as many shops as possible on my lunch break (albeit to look around, see nothing and walk back out and start the process again) and on about 4 occassions, I get stuck behind one of these lovely little 3-foot-nothing granny's, but its ok, because once I get outside, I'll side step her and motor on.

However, they seem compelled to get to the shop doorway and then STOP to evaluate whether to go right, left or straight on.

Or else, they seem confident to continue holding their purse in their hand whilst in the shop after paying for something but once they are at the door, they are not moving outside until that purse is inside their handbag.

And its not as if they stop a foot either side of the door way enabling you to turn sideways and shuffle out - oh no, they are compelled to stop right in the center of the door way whilst they ponder what to do.
