So last month I bought 2 or 3 CDs by bands from various parts of Africa. And now I am bombarded by e-mails from Amazon assuming I want to buy lots of 'world musc'. Fine, I think, I'll have a lot at these because they may show me some bargains from other African bands I like or might introduce me to some African bands I don't know already. So I open up the e-mail and what gem of world music is presented to me for sale, what exotic genius of sub-Saharan pop am about to encounter for the first time? James Galway. James f***ing Galway. Let me repeat that so you understand it properly.James f***ING Galway.

 

World Music. Amazon my a***.
