They must have got together before tonight's MOTD and decided what they should say to put as much pressure as possible on the Glams.

Hansen in particular was very good - a great performance from the two centre backs.

It wasn't bad

Can't remember exactly what Hansen said, but it was something like "before it was pressure and ...., now it's pressure, .... and FEAR"

and

"they don't know where the next points are coming from"

Good lad

Sir Alex Ferguson hits out at TV pundit Mark Lawrenson over claims of row with Wayne Rooney

With Manchester United forced into vehement denials of renewed talk of Cristiano Ronaldo moving to Real Madrid, Sir Alex Ferguson launched an attack of his own – on Mark Lawrenson, the former Liverpool defender and BBC pundit.

Ferguson, who is preparing his team for a week that could go a long way to deciding their fate this season, accused Lawrenson of "self-promotion" over his accusation that Ferguson had a row with Wayne Rooney after United's 4-1 defeat to Liverpool last month and that there was a problem between them.

"Everyone knows Rooney had a massive row with Ferguson after the Liverpool game and was then left out," Lawrenson claimed last week.

Sir Alex Ferguson fights for Carlos QueirozFerguson said: "Absolute nonsense. I don't know where that came from but the revealing part of it is 'everybody knows' – but I didn't know and I was in there. These people self-promote, but who the hell's bothered?"

United, who are now two points behind Liverpool, play Aston Villa and then host Porto in the Champions League on Tuesday amid further speculation about Ronaldo.

Although the Old Trafford club were quick to refute claims the Portuguese has agreed a £75 million move to Spain, it is an issue that will come to a head this summer.

Ronaldo's contract expires in 2012, but the end of the season marks United's final chance to negotiate a new deal or risk losing the winger for £12 million in 2010, when he could buy himself out of the two remaining years under Fifa rules

You're clearly not bothered are you Alex?

Where exactly did he "hit out" a Lawrenson? Horrendous journalism, can't believe they're allowed to get away with stuff like this. They take something someone said and bend it out of all proportion and context with a catchy explosive headline.

Journalists like this should be lined up and shot.

he also did a, what was it, "good day for the neutrals" with a wink at hansen and lawrenson and then repeated it to make sure they heard him
