Connecting an iPod to a hi-fi

Right, I've got a good hi-fi system, but occasioanlly I would like to listen to some music that's on the iPod through the hi-fi.

 

Do they sell things to connect the two, or do I need a specially set up amp? My amp is pre-iPod but I might consider getting a new one if need be...
