I'd be interested to know re Tommy if its got to do with Scouser Tommy or it sounds like mafia/gangster name which marries nicely with the way Mascher plays

Which I think sounds better - some were suggesting it should be replaced with his real name 'Javier'.

 

Cant see why it never took off, I think its boss, it gives him a soprano-esque aura which is ideal given the way he plays the game

As for Montana and Soprano - dont watch Soprano's but know what its about - not sure who Montana is ?

 

But the name Tommy is great as it lends itself to both images and both are very apt for Mascherano which is why I love it.
