He has spent the money thrown his way terribly at West Ham. Players like Upson, Dyer, Bellamy and Ljunjberg are notoriously injury prone. Added to this, he was incredibly lucky to avoid relegation 2 seasons ago. I don't feel too much sympathy for him. Other managers have received far less support from their board of directors than he has.

Hes crap in the transfer market I agree. But he hasn't had much backing in the market after all the "we'll make West Ham the biggest club in the world" "We'll spend loads" bla bla bla, now he's having players sold behind his back.

That is true. But is selling McCartney and Ferdinand for a combined fee of £14 million reason to walk out? Failing to accept those bids should be a sackable offence! You're right though, if they were sold behind his back, particularly McCartney, which meant they had to make last minute loan deal to bring in a replacement, it does leave him in an untenable position.

Terry Mc. is on his 432nd manager at Newcastle. The fecker must have the worst job security in football but he always manages to keep his job.

Most Newcastle fans are convinced he's got something on someone

Jumped before he was pushed.....

After years of scrimping at Charlton he finally got his chance to spend a bit of money and frankly he blew it IMO.
