looked like he'd a huge wager on not dishing out any yellows tonight, until terry's foul on mascherano forced him to choose between collecting the cash or sacrificing his champions' league status.

 

some of his decisions regarding throw-ins and goal kicks/corners were bizarre enough, but he was quite happy to let the chelsea defence clobber (in particular) torres, while drogba got the benefit of a number of innocuous contacts.

 

the ballack handball was stonewall, the cashley push on kuyt in the first half was giveable too.

They seemed to get most 50-50's and almost every time Drogba was touched he got a foul.

 

The one where he stopped playing and the ref then decided to blow was laughable.

 

People like Drogba and that c*** Terry thrive on refs like that. They knew what they could get away with and did it time and time again.

 

How it took to the 92 minute for Terry to get a card is beyond me
