Guest Kaizer
According to the Danish newspaper BT these are the most effective strikers in Europe when we include both league and Europe. To be considered on the list you need to be listed as a striker and you need to have played more than 500 minutes during the season, so on the basis of this a player like C.Ronaldo is excluded. If I had worked out the stats I would not have included players that have played less than 1000 minutes, maybe even 1500, but thought I should post BT`s list anyway. England:1. Liverpool - Fernando Torres (113)/ P.Crouch (174) - 1442. Arsenal - E. Adebayor (151)/ R. van Persie (176) - 1633. Tottenham - D. Berbatov (167)/ Robbie Keane (168) - 1674. Blackburn - Matt Derbyshire (160)/ B. McCarthy (190) - 1755. Man. Utd. - Wayne Rooney (175)/ Carlos Tevez (177) - 176 Spain:1. Barcelona - Samuel Eto´o (100)/ Lionel Messi (147) - 1242. Villarreal - Kahveci Nihat (122)/ Giuseppe Rossi (158) - 1403. Real Madrid - R. van Nistelrooy (147)/ Robinho (160) - 1534. Sevilla - Luis Fabiano (113)/ Frédéric Kanoute (194) - 1545. A. Madrid - Sergio Aguero (156)/ Diego Forlán (169) - 163 Germany:1. Werder B. - Ivan Klasnic (84)/ B. Sanogo (151) - 1172. Bayern M. - Luca Toni (109)/ Miroslav Klose (168) - 1383. Hertha - S. Okoronkwo (142)/ M. Pantelic (177) - 1604. Stuttgart - Mario Gomez (107)/ Cacau (245) - 1765. Dortmund - Mladen Petric (164)/ D. Klimowicz (196) - 163 Italy:1. Juventus - Vinc. Iaquinta (133)/ D. Trezéguet (149) - 1412. Inter - Zlatan Ibrahimovic (127)/ Julio Cruz (157) - 1423. Genoa - Marco Borriello (132)/ L. Figueroa (188) - 1604. Fiorentina - Adrian Mutu (124)/ Christian Vieri (204) - 1645. Milan - Filippo Inzaghi (158)/ Alexandre Pato (189) - 173 France:1. Bordeaux - F. Cavenaghi (80)/ D. Bellion (206) - 1432. He's playing a withdrawn striker, which isn't much different to the wide role Ronaldo plays.
