Coyler
Thought there was an old thread about this. Ah well. First Bohs-Rovers game of the season ... el clásico ... off to Páirc na Tulchann soon fully confident of an unmerciful hammering for the homeless. John Paul Kelly played all right last week, by the way, without much end product. Looks arsed at least. Still yet to "run amok" as promised. Pat's and Derry should be a decent match on the telly, as well. dorgie
1 nils all round tonight in the Premier division. A win at last for Cork City after 4 draws. First points of the season dropped by Pats. Could be a very tight league this year. Drogheda, Pats, Cork and maybe Derry, Bohs & Rovers should all be up there. Coyler
Rovers were dreadful. Which was nice. Glen Crowe is now Bohs' top scorer ever.
BDB
How did Drogheda get good? It was always up one year, relegated, then back up the next. What happened? All the dublin folks moving into town? Or all the Latvians? Edited April 7, 2008 by BDB

Boca
Glen Crowe is now Bohs' top scorer ever. Imagine if he hadn't jumped ship to Shels. Think of how many goals he would have scored for Bohs by now
Extraordinary Swindle
How did Drogheda get good? It was always up one year, relegated, then back up the next. What happened? They signed some of Shels better players during the fire sale.
Ronnie Whelan
The Drogs have spent well over the last two years. To be fair they have a pretty decent attendance at home games too.

ExCorkExile
Pat Morley and Ollie Cahill got dogs abuse anytime they played at Turners Cross after jumping ship to Shels. That may have been more of a Cork Dublin thing though
Red_Rob
Both Rovers and Bohs were poor in terrible conditions. A shocking defensive lapse from Maguire was the difference, but in fairness to Chunk, he took his goal well. The Gypos embarassed themselves with one of the worst bannners ever to 'grace' a stadium. Super Mario Bohs indeed. Edited April 8, 2008 by Red_Rob
Coyler
Pat Morley and Ollie Cahill got dogs abuse anytime they played at Turners Cross after jumping ship to Shels. That may have been more of a Cork Dublin thing thoughOh he got dog's abuse all right, it's when he came back I'm talking about. Nutsy himself is another case in point, after agreeing to take the job last year and then backing out.
Boca
Pat Morley and Ollie Cahill got dogs abuse anytime they played at Turners Cross after jumping ship to Shels. That may have been more of a Cork Dublin thing though Billy Woods got it for going to Rovers and Kearney for going to Shels. It's definitely a Cork - Dublin thing. Georgie Callaghan f***s the club over by basically going on strike to get a move and he's welcomed back with open arms. That's the LOI for you. ExCorkExile
O'Callaghan got a pretty mute reception at the Bray game - most supporters think he's a complete w**ker amd moneygrabber (€125K per annum apparently). I can't understand why they went to such lengths to get him back - he's slow and lazy, the ultimate fair weather player Edited April 9, 2008 by ExCorkExile
Coyler
Great match on telly there. Screamer of a free kick and a better penalty than Zidane's in the World Cup Final, both from Killian Brennan, give Bohs a 2-1 win at Droichead Átha. Bohs move ominously into second place. ExCorkExile
Two big games this weekend Cork City v DrogsBohs v Derry If Drogs lose they'll be a long way back at this stage of tthe season. Wetaher is crap in Cork this morning - hopefully it'll clear before 7.45 Bohs and Derry should be a cracking game.

A midfield and attack with the likes of Fahey, Ndo, Quigley, O'Neill, Keane, Ryan and Kirby with the the best defense in the league behind them will be very hard to beat. ExCorkExile
It is already turning to be very competitive league with Pats, Bohs, Cork, Derry and Drogs are all capable of winning the title. Only good for the LoI in the long run For myself Cork look much stronger this year. Solid at the back - two good fullbacks in Horgan and Murohy. Strong in midfield with Healy, Gamble, Kearney and Mooney is scoring goals now as well up front. If O'Flynn can keep fit for more than a couple of weeks, with the talismanic p***k that is O'Callaghan they won't be far away

Coyler
Rovers and Pat's on Setanta in a minute. Heart in dire struggle with head over what result is best for Bohs; tá sé ina chogadh dearg eatarthu.

Is this the same St. Pats that 2 weeks ago played Linfield off the pitch?? The same St. Pats who are down to the bare bones players wise and are still 4 point clear at the top??!! Come on any fan would prefer to be in St.Pats position now but don't make out that its just a case of s*** teams doing well. St. Pats are top because they are the best team in the league at the minute.
