Why the feck has Rafa not sold him if he is never gonna play him?

Crouch alone of the players with 2 years left on their contracts at the start of the season refused to sign an extension. Despite recent statements about wanting to stay, as far as I'm aware he still hasn't signed up, so will only have a year left at the end of the season. Benitez's attitude to selecting him coincides with Crouch's lack of commitment to the club I believe

They mean that Crouch is s**** and if you think he is the solution to anything you need to think again.

 

I think Crouch is better than Kuyt but we really dont need someone to slow our game even more down, because that is what he does.

Think he deserves to start more games, but against Havant he was one of the worst culprits and didn't look interested in the slightest. Pining all our hopes on him is a bit desperate i think but given the alternatives i think he has to start more games and we can hope he can get motivated.

Can Crouch hold the ball up better than Kuyt/Voronin? Yes

Is Crouch a greater threat in the air than Kuyt/Voronin? Yes

 

Your stat means feck all because Crouch has hardly featured as a regular. If he would have started the same number of games as Kuyt, he would have scored at least double than him.

 

He is the best striker in terms of overall ability behind Torres. He would provide Torres more space up front and the rest of our midfield with his presence and ability to hold the ball up.

Crouch and Kuyt are both sh*t

 

Crouch hides though when the chips are down but is more of a goal threat than Kuyt

 

Stuck between a rock and hard place

 

Stick Babel up top is the answer

Crouch is better than Kuyt, no doubt about that, personally I have never rated either of them.

 

I`m just saying there is a reason why Crouch is not playing and thats because he is not very good, he has not signed a new contract and as for coming on as a sub, correct me if I`m wrong but in his 29 sub apps he has only scored 1 goal so if he should be used he should be used from the start.

I'm a massive supporter of Benitez but his refusal to play Crouch is even getting on my nerves. I don't care who doesn't get on with who, no-one is bigger than the club and we're a better team with Crouch in the side. He should play ahead of Kuyt, who's confidence is shot an Rafa's persistence with him is Houllieresque.

 

Liverpool FC comes first and we should field the best possible 11 regardless of personality clashes or anything else.

It is, I have to admit, genuinely bewildering, because, to begin with, I couldn't quite believe Benitez wanted to buy him, but then he did, then Crouch made me think Benitez was right after all...and then Benitez seemed to lose faith in Crouch. As a story, it's incoherent. I just cannot work out the reasoning.

wheres your best second striker voronin??? your a joke. Crouch has never been good from the bench, at least he looks capable of scoring unlike kuyt. He hasnt been given a fair chance with torres this season at all.
