what does he need to do to be able to buy and sell such that the net spend is zero? i.e balancing the books, no net outlay, no money needed as such, not spending more than he makes from sales, the amount of money laid out when sales are taken away from purchases is zero etc etc

 

would he also need to qualify?

 

if we don't qualify does he have to make money from sales to keep his job? what if someone buys Voronin for £50m, would that save his job?

Rafa is ultra-pragmatic, I don't know how people haven't figured that out yet. He did what he did on Saturday because he thought in the long run it was the best thing to do, he may have been wrong, but only time will tell. Besides, winning tonight is only worth about £2.5m to us.
