I notice that United rotated their squad for the Bolton game, leaving out Ronaldo (despite them being already qualified for the CL, manking their midweek game meaningless) and playing Tevez, who'd had a 5,000 mile round trip during the week for internationals.

 

Funny how there's not a shred of criticism in the papers.....

The players that we have used most often are Carra and Gerrard and Arbeloa so we do have some dependance but not as much as Arsenal I would contend.

Another possible factor could be rotation and the use of their squad.

 

Consider the following;

 

- Arsenal are playing great stuff. They have had relatively few injuries, though they have coped well without Van Persie. They have a settled side and when fit you generally see Toure, Gallas, Clichy, Fabregas, Hleb, Rosicky, Adebayor.

 

- Liverpool are playing below ourselves. We have had some key injuries yet remain unbeaten. Our team is never settled as it is always rotated.

 

Perhaps Arsenal's good form has something to do with a settled side. But what about games in March, April and May - will there key players be fresh then ?

Those players have played alot of games together. But what about their back-up. All I am saying is lets hope Rafa's strategy of rotation will bear fruits later in the season and Wenger's kids will run out of steam towards the end of the season considering they are playing alot of games now.
