I'm sure it sold out on something silly like 12 last year

My mates stopped in Newbury on the way for a pint last time, rather than drink round the ground

Yeah think it was 12 yet our end was filled with 100s of absolute weapons who clearly hardly ever go let alone to at least 12 aways a season on a season ticket.

I enjoyed the Carling Cup game there earlier thiss eason even less.

"Who are ya?" b*llocks every time we scored.

Had two coaches parked opposite me on the other Sat (Theale right by J12 of M4) that turned out to be Newcastle fans. Not a bad shout to be honest as there are a number of pubs in the village

There are no pubs anywhere near the ground - and the hotel doesn't allow Away fans in.

Better to have a few beers well away and get a train in to Reading and then a cab/free bus to the ground.

I thought you lived there? I blame Gilps anwyay.

I don't live there anymore either. And I've never been from there anyway. I've never pretended it's anything other than a festering s*** hole of a non place.

But don't give me any s*** about you living in a village in the country ;)

It is 2100 or something

There've been smaller allocations with lesser requirements in the past.

Perhaps this is a sign of things to come.

I presume they factor in the likely demand as well as the number of tickets available...

It's a fairly long trip from Liverpool, it's a late kick off and it's on the telly. That's not all going to increase demand is it?

Not the bus queue again!

I don't understand wht there would be high demand for this fixture in particular though

Well, demand was insane last season - presumably cos it was the first ever game there. Maybe it won't be so high this season and the club have over-estimated demand?

Who cares anyway as it will obviously go lower if there is not enough demand at this level

It may be a long trip but don't forget that Berkshire and the surrounds are fecking mobbed with OOTers who wanna go this one...
