it is nice to see northern ireland footy shirts out and about again, just a few years ago you would have found it hard to buy one in belfast. now there are kids wearing the teams colours about the place. nice to see

Depends how you look at it of course, I like to see norn iron do well, just as much as the Republic (Spain `82 n all that), but the religio/political side of things is still too raw (section 'f' n all that).

When I was living in Glasgow I would see loads of lads wearing their England shirts to the Rangers games. Weird bunch. Clearly no identity (or a very misguided one)

the 82 white kit (you know the one they were wearing against spain) still looks good...theyre selling them in burtons.

i dont like rangers and celtic shirts and i went to a match last year and the atmosphere was brilliant, none of the nonsense which most people level at the crowd but a good honest football crowd( of course that hasnt always been the case but if we have martin and ian as head honcos then things have changed)

Saw a young Irish lad wearing a Rooney England top in Galway over the weekend. Even if he's a manyoo fan, that's very strange.
