...one of my favourite sporting events of the year.

 

Who do people fancy then? I've gone for Richard Sterne (100-1) who looks very promising and won me £400 when he won the Celtic Manor, and Justin Rose (25-1) who has been there or there abouts in the last few majors and hits it pretty straight; then I'll see who makes a bright start and put another one or two on for good measure.

 

Fasth has been in good form lately as well, he's another decent bet I reckon at 40-1. Hopefully Woods will have had a few sleepless nights lately and won't be on top form so a few of the others will get a chance.

 

I enjoy a flutter on the golf, it gives you a good 4 days of entertainment (if your players make the cut!) and the odds are pretty long so if you can pick a winner it rewards handsomely.
