renewing season ticket

just been trying for 40 mins and getting the message 'all our operators are busy, please try later' then it cuts off....

 

surely they aren't all busy in the middle of summer? been ringing the 08448440844 number... The cut off time is 5th July till it goes up by £50, so maybe they have left it on that message till then so they get a good chrimbo party this year....

edit: just got through to someone on customer services and she said people are queuing up outside to renew... so maybe the queue is legit?

Yes. Last wednesday. Took about 15 mins all in all.

I queued up for a while this morning. It was the usual story - just 2 windows open. But they did have 2 crowd control stewards. Maybe if they opened more windows there wouldn't be a crowd and then they wouldn't need those stewards

From a personal point of view this was the first convenient moment that I could go, But from talking to a few people I think that many have waited till the June salary cheque was available :-)

I renewed on the first day.

 

Got through first try and 30 seconds later had renewed my S/T

They send a receipt out - you keep your season ticket card.

 

If you lose it you can get another one for £10 - but only once a season

cheers for the info... got sorted... started at number 10 in the queue... seemed to take about 7 minutes to progress to a lower number each time.. but for some reason it only took me about 30 seconds to sort mine out... how hard can reading a number out be? nice 40 minute phone call on my mobile bill
