How much do you think a black market ticket will cost in Athens?

I'm guessing it's not going to be like Istanbul - where some were getting them at near face value.

The going rate at the moment seems to be around £400.

If I could get one now for £250-300 I'd take your hand off.

Suppose more people including myself will be looking less when the ballot result is out and so the prices MIGHT come down from £400ish

I'd imagine that on the day of the game if you chanced it you might be able to get one for £200-300 of a tout who was starting to get worried but at the moment it's definintely a sellers market !!!!

I was at the Barca-a*** game last year. Outside the ground I was offered 1000 euros for my ticket by a Barca fan who was approaching everyone...

He'll have been lucky to get one for anywhere near 1000 euros, are you sure he wasn't a tout hoping to sell it back to an Arsenal fan ?

Arsenal fans were buying them for between £1000 and £2000 a ticket on the few days before the game.

They don't go down in value as you get closer to the game, they go up.

This UEFA ticket arrangement thing is a disgrace and a total gravy train for the officials who end up getting tickets.

is it possible to get 6 tickets through the neutral ballot? saw this advertised...

FC Liverpool vs AC Milan part two. 6 Champions League Final Tickets for sale. The price is £195 each.

he's also asking for a transfer thru western union, and he's sent me back the UEFA confirmation email and pics. somehow, i don't trust him.

30,000 to UEFA officials is a disgrace. If the G14 really want to do something then this is what they should concentrate on, not percentages of TV money. The CL Final has never been more grand or hyped, it's at it's peak. If they don't look after the fans what's the fecking point of the tournament and of going to the group games?

It's not 30,000 to UEFA officials, the stadium holds 63,000. Each clubs gets 20,000 tickets and there are 9,000 given out in the ballot. That's 14,000 tickets left, that's probably split between those sold to the local fans, those given to the local FA, those given to every FA in Europe and sponsors.

Well you're wrong

http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N...070504-1624.htm

"The bottom line is that we have been given only 17,000 tickets for a stadium with a capacity of 63,000 for the Final.

Mixed mesaages coming out

http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...inal+provisions

Each team will receive an allocation of 20,000 tickets but Uefa's director of communications William Gaillard concedes that that will leave many fans disappointed.

EDIT: I'd say the confusion is that the club might get 20,000 but only 17,000 of them are going to the fans. According to UEFA.com the 17,000 figure goes directly to the fans. Either that or Sky got it wrong (probably that :) )

The Olympic Stadium's capacity will be 63,800 for the showpiece. More than 50 per cent of the seats will be reserved for the supporters of the two finalists; with each club able to take up to 17,000 tickets and distribute these directly to its supporters.

Hi from South Africa, I can safely confirm two of our supporters club members have each paid 1,550 pounds each for a MATCH TICKET.

I can also safely confirm that we have been getting a large supply of tout tickets (One tour operator has sold 15 packages already at 2,500 pounds).

Madness.

Don't know if I'm going mad but I can't see on that website where it says the price and how you book.

I'm waiting for a tout I know who says he can guarantee me 4 tickets (2 together x 2). He hasn't given me a price yet but indicated it would be 600-700 quid EACH. There are 6 in our party all qualifying for the ballot (3 STH & 3 FCH) so will wait till the results before committing.

I paid 300 quid each for 2 tickets to Istanbul and got them from a poster on here the Monday before the game!!
