f***ing Pepe, did not have much to do all game, and then he pulls out a save like he did for Adebeyor.

 

He just seems to have a knack of pulling out winning saves that all our past goal keepers did not seem to do. He really does concentrate throughout the entire game.

That's a great save. You know he can get a tip / hand to the ball - that's how confident i'm in him.

 

however, Dudek in 1st season could have done it too - shame he's nevers the same the blunder vs the Mancs.

Was a fantastic save alright and at a key moment too. Dropped a couple of catches but didn't result in anything thankfully.

 

Very pleased with Reina again this season, for all the mistakes he [apparently] makes every game I can't think of more than 4 goals he's been directly responsible for in his time with us (Ashton, O'Shea, Martins, Johnson) - any others I've missed off?

O'Shea??? Come on, that's harsh. It was a very well worked free kick; the ball bouncing right in front of him with Saha running across him right as he was coming to him.

 

For me, Johnson's doesn't really count as I believe he would have played it safe (palmed the ball into touch) and not done what he did if we were in a position to win/save a match.

 

He was looking unsure in the early part of the season though, but has been back to his best since recovering his form.
