with the missus just now, she wants me to check about tickets for my daughter's dance show. It went like this:

mrs.clown: are on your laptop?

me: yes, and now what?

her: can you do me a favour and log on to the internet

me: yes, and now what?

her: log into my hotmail account

me: yes, and now what?

her: find the e-mail from the dance school

me: yes, and now what?

her: read it and check the details about the show

me: yes, and now what?

her: go to my favourites ( )

me: you mean to a web-site?

her: yes

me: which one?

her: the one for the dance shool

me: yes, and now what?

her: go the members only bit of the site

me: yes, and now what?

her: check the dates, the times and ticket prices

me: yes, and now what?

her: go to the theatre web-site

me: yes, and now what?

her: check the number to ring for the tickets

which I do. And of course all of the details are on the theatre's web-site. So why ask me to check an e-mail to find out the details for a log-in to a specific web-site to find information out about another web-site to then check the other web-site?

Is it me or would it have just been easier to tell me the name of the theatre in the first place?
