Formation Last night ? 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 ?

Could not help but think that we played a 3-5-2 last night, but i keep reading all over the place that it was a 4-4-2.

 

I know Rafa has a tendency to make his formations mutate in attack and defence, but i felt that Riise and Finnan were both used as Wingbacks last night.

Looked clearly a normal 4-4-2 to me. Maybe I'm missing something?

From the high camera angle it definitely looked like 442 to me, especially when Barca had the ball.

If it was 4-4-2 then surely Riise can't be blamed for their goal?

Remember Juve last year didn't we play a 4-4-2 that became a 5-3-2 when we were defending. Maybe it was something similar.
