Arsenal v Blackburn Rovers.

This is going to be a tough one to call, I would have actually gone for Balckburn but for their UEFA Cup match. Arsenal to scrape it or a draw.

Chelsea v Norwich.

No contest, Chelsea by 4 goals.

Watford v Ipswich.

Watford to progress by the odd goal.

Plymouth v Derby Co.

Having not witnessed either team play this year, I go for a draw.

Middlesbrough v West Brom.

Shock of the round for me, West Brom in a comfortable win.

Man United v Reading.

A close tie but late goals see off Reading.

Preston v Man City

A Preston win, but it will not be classed as a shock due to the positions of the team in the league.

Fulham v Spurs.

Tottenham to progress after a replay.

Arsenal, Chelsea and United all comfortably enough.

Preston with the only real 'upset'.

Boro, Derby and Watford to get through (maybe just by the odd goal though).

Spurs to get past Fulham, possibly after 2 ties.

got to agree with Gomez, i will watch the Arsenal game and then switch over to Italian and Spanish footy on GOL TV.

i might watch the Preston-City game on Sunday.

it's already set up for a final between 2 of Mancs, Chavs and Gooners. the FA will make sure of it. as they need something big to christen New Wembley.

I hear Reading are going to send out a weakened team! WTF? It's the 5th round. They are hardly going to win the league or get relegated so what's that about?

Thalking about pissing on the dreams of fans and turning football performances on the pitch into damage limitation business performances. What a joke. If I was a reading fan I'd be gutted to be honest. (they'll probably beat ManU now)

:)

I can see the sense behind this decision. They are in the hunt for a European spot which is far more financially lucrative than making it to the next round of the Cup and thats assuming the beat the league leaders. Im sure some fans will have a moan about it, but if they are playing in the UEFA next season they wont be moaning.

Dipped in and out of the Blackburn / a*** match, or should that be watched the blackburn / a*** match and dipped in and out of conciousness.

Warnock has had walcott in his pocket.

Anyone who complains about our poor finishing should watch arsenal today. Talk about gilt edged chances

When?

As for blackburn.Jesus they should lose just for showing such a lack of ambition. They break and decide to run in into the corner to wind the clock down.

Their problem has been theyve barely had any chances, they only come to life when Theo "fish out of water" Walcott and Freddie "I cant run anymore" Ljunberg went off.

Ljundberg looked either still injured or finished today. Havn't seen much of his this season but if that's the way he's been playing then I can't really see him being there next season. The difference Rosisky made was huge.

Walcott looked brutal today. Henry looked completly uninterested as well.

I was looking at one of their sites before the FA Cup game I think it was and the general opinion was that he's totally finished, pace totally gone therefore cant get in behind defence anymore etc.

Rosicky was good, they'd of probably scored given another 5mins or so.

jeez, that was brutal.

imagine having paid to go and watch that, even worse, imagine travelling from Blackburn, paying and watching that.

i've seen some pretty dire games, but that was awful. Blackburn will be pleased they got a draw, but Arsenal were garbage and could have been beaten had Blackburn showed 5 minutes of urgency.

do goals not count for Arsenal unless they are "wundergoals" or walked in to the net?

Walcott really seems like money well spent!! he gets the ball and waits for a line of 2 defenders to get in front of him before he moves. i don't see him staying too long at Arsenal.

it got so bad that i went and shovelled snow off the driveway for 15 minutes in the 2nd half, and the snow shovelling was a heck of al ot more interesting.

Tried watching the Arsenal game because I'm stuck at home at the moment. Terrible stuff. I'd rather have my nads waxed than watch that again. But what's happened to Friedel's accent. He sounds like an extra from Last of the Summer Wine.

Watching it at the moment. Man U just scored with a long range effort, but what the hell was the keeper doing? He seemed to get across and just dive above the ball. It looked harder to NOT save it.

Also, never heard 70,000 people stay so quiet.

By the way, Ian Wright is a total idiot and is the exact reason BBCs live match coverage is so bad. I actually want to beat myself to death with the remote control instead of listening to him. Either that or I'll change channel until the 2nd half starts.
