Should be pointed out that a poster commenting on the piece made that remark about learning to forgive and not James Stephenson of the BBC.

 

As we all know, you can't legislate for what some idiot will post.

 

In regard to the piece itself, I think this is the best defence mustered from the BBC's point of view.

Good to see that not every broadcaster is too pig-headed to admit their mistakes.
