Finally got a response from my official complaint to the BBC about McKenzie

so we should learn to forgive and Mckenzie should be allowed to air his "opinions"

Some people just dont get it do they

Should be pointed out that a poster commenting on the piece made that remark about learning to forgive and not James Stephenson of the BBC.

As we all know, you can't legislate for what some idiot will post.

In regard to the piece itself, I think this is the best defence mustered from the BBC's point of view.

'In my view, that doesn't mean that Kelvin MacKenzie should be banned from appearing on television. Not least, because that's one way his views can be challenged by those who disagree with them.....

There is clearly a lot of anger towards Kelvin MacKenzie. His appearance gave the audience the chance to judge for themselves whether they agree with him or his many critics.'

I've just seen that they've given that git another paying gig!

Just sent a complaint in about both, demanding to know why money I pay the BBC is subsiding that bugger.

"...and Gotcha! sees Kelvin MacKenzie's looks at the birth of the tabloid newspaper, which goes back to when the Daily Mail started in 1896."

WTF?

What's happened to the bbc? That's got to be one of the most inappropriate uses of the license fee in its history.
