If we buy Richards then he can play as the attacking player out of a central 3, with three at the back, 2 wing backs and 2 strikers.

 

Not a huge fan of the system myself but it could be devastating when we went forward.

 

Richards(A.N.Other), Carra, D Agger

 

Alves, Gerrard, Kaka, Alonso/Sissoko, Gonzalez/Riise

 

Bellamy/Kuyt/Torres/etc

you only have to look at West Ham to find an un-balance by bringing in "BiGNamE PlaYerZ!!11"

 

sorry but people have to have some percepion about this takeover (that hasn't even happened yet). Rafa has shown, that yes, on a tight budget according to some, has done very well in the transfer market.

Others would say He is very clever in the fact he wont pay over the odds for a player he doesn't value at the other clubs asking price.

 

Take that two ways, weve either been a) skint and rafa has had to settle for 2nd rate. b) a brilliant manager who can find a player of less skill and still get the best out of the given time.

 

personally id rather Rafa in charge right now than Ged with this takeover

kaka is far better than momo and alonso. He is proven quality tevez and mascherano havent proved themselves anywhere except south america.

Is it well established he's even leaving? Obviously the Milan situation is just a blip and they'll be back with the normal fare next year. Or is there more to it than CL football?

I get what you're saying, but Kaka's a player you make room for. Rafa would probably do something along the lines of the Barca 4-3-3 with Kaka and Gerrard and Alonso in the middle.

He's brill, but those pointing at Xabi being too weak, this guy is fragile in comparison.
