The Hitman Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Brumbies rugby union player Jone Tawake has had one of his right fingers amputated in an attempt to be fit for next year's Super 14 rugby union season. Tawake suffered a bad dislocation earlier this year and underwent surgery which resulted in complications and an infection. His only option of being fit and a chance at the World Cup squad was to take drastic action and have the finger removed Tawake said his team-mates were shocked by the move. "A few of the Wallaby boys sent me a text message saying can you confirm is it really gone," he said. "I think most of the boys wouldn't do it but I think for me it was either this or football."-------------------------------------------------------------Jesus!!
