..though he was only on for 20-25 mins...thought he was superb and done exactly what Rafa wanted from him, in fact i`d go as far as to say thats the best 20-25mins ive seen from him since the charity shield..

my one criticism from last night was he shimmied his way into their area and he was fouled and didnt go down and get a penalty.

EDIT: In fact just spoke to me mate in work and he said there is a bit of a controversy about when it ends, whether it is Sunday or Monday, either way it will be Sunday sunset anyway, so he still wont be able to drink during the match

don't footballers who observe Ramadan make an exepetion with that though?

You can skip days of fasting for a variety of reasons (including if you are travelling a reasonable distance on that day) and make it up by fasting after ramadan. I'd imagine Momo has fasted for some but nowhere near all of Ramadan.

Depending on which Mosque you follow the last fast could be either Saturday or Sunday (before you ask i dont know why it isnt one set date...just one of those annoying things imo). We follow Regents Park Mosque and will find out on Saturday night if its Eid on Sunday. Apologies not very football related!

 

Momo was class tother night, does exactly what Rafa needs him to and puts himself about. We really struggle without him in the middle.
