Fowler 90's surely?

If you want a striker from the 00's pick Judas Mickey.

He'd played in this decade so counts, and for what it's worth I think Robbie is a better all round striker than Owen

Strange that Liddell features. Bet most of you on this site never saw him play, apart from Murphman of course.... :)

Never seen him play - but heard a lot about him and read about him - he sounded like an incredible player.

If he wasn't included then others would ask why, we can't win.

At least I didn't watch Matt McQueen make his debut like you. Shame about his career being interrupted by WW one eh, you auld barstard!

I saw Roger Hunt play loads of times, miles too young for Liddel though. Unlike Sniffer .........

I don't think I ever saw Roger Hunt play for us, but I did go to his testimonial

Believe me, my old chum, Liddell deserves to be on the list. He could hit that ball just as hard with both feet - not like the one legged ponies you see today in the Premiership. Just as good on the rightwing, left wing and centre-forward. Tragedy that World War 2 interrupted his career (as it did with many others, of course). Jackie Balmer wasn't a bad player either..... :D
