Love this game - and although I've had Nvidea cards for quite a while - I still remember when I used to play Quake on 3dfx cards - well now! You can download a utility that sets up a Nvidea OpenGL version of the game playing and it's still ace - the graphics in some ways are dated and not as good as the stuff now - but f***ing hell - the gameplay is still there

 

I've bought the original years ago (Suprise suprise) but wouldn't be suprised if it's freeware by now

 

If it is or you've got it - download and watch the in-game recorded Quake Done 100% quick and Quake done quicker

 

The first is about 59 minutes of someone playing quake (recorded in game) and finding every secret and killing every monster

 

The other one is about 12 minutes and is someone finishing levels at a stupid rate

 

Looking around you can get AVIs of loads of games 'done quick'

 

Get em downloaded and have a laugh with some ale.
