We're defintely not signing...

[Lee W]

Chelsea look out

[_00_deathscar]

And Romario goes where...?

[Lee W]

To us, as a cheap alternative to Kuyt.

[kacangpool]

For a a combined fee of £13m - a very good deal for barca, makes alves seem more overpriced than he already is.

[kacangpool]

nevermind thuram is 34, almost a garage sale price imo.

[Stevie H]

great signings. two class acts, and what a lovely place to play out your career for thuram.

[Gilps]

That's some squad they're going to have now. Puyol + Marquez + Thuram into 2 doesn't go, but its not a bad problem for Rijkaard to have.

[Guest Anders Honoré]

Marquez is gonna take back the holding role, I reckon.

That could work. He's a better player there than Edmilson anyway.

They need a goalkeeper.

[Bailo]

They need a goalkeeper.

You don't rate Valdes?

I'm glad they got rid of Pepe, but Valdes seems a solid keeper.

Valdes looks dodgy as feck to me.

First time I've actually heard him complimented.

[Knox_Harrington]

they should sign dudek.

That really isn't a bad shout. Not many crosses to deal with in the same way.

He seems to have great agility but his distribution among other things looks appalling. Still, they arent doing to bad with him in goal.
