Guest bluehouse Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 The stadium is predicted to cost £190m, a few years ago it was going to cost under £100m. Coould we save money by looking at cheaper designs. Steve Morgan's opinion is that stadium costs are escalating unnecessarily. I'm just thinking put loud here, but I assume there's one or two civil engineers/architects on here that think there are cheaper designs?

Good idea. Post your money-saving suggestions here: 1. No roof on the away end
Guest Scot Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 No away end. I like the way you think 3. No seats, bring your own deckchairs
Armin_Tamzarian Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Site away end in cheap out of town location.
Kite Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Only one half to the pitch (the opposition half obviously).
Armin_Tamzarian Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Forget bricks and make stadium out of mud or straw. Laugh at other clubs wasting their time protecting against wolves as they'll never get promoted.
