Ryanair have special offer on till midnight tonight, was thinking of booking cheap flights for the start of next season in the hope that its a home game.

 

i assume the the fixtures arent out yet but does anyone know the first liely date?

 

last season it was 13th of august for the 1st home game of the season, will it be delayed this year cause of the world cup?

 

also he played away first game of the season last season, does that have any bearing for our first game this season. i presume it has none at all but you never know

Charity Shield is on 13th of August.

Time does go quicker as we get older, or we perceive it to go faster. In psychological tests it was shown that the older a person is the more poorly they are at judging time. So, for instance, when sat in a room for x minutes, and then asked to state how long they believed they had been in a room for, the older the participants, the more likely they were to underestimate the length of time they'd been in the room. So, for instance, when a 70 year old had been sat in a room for say 35 minutes they estimated it at 10 (an example, not an actual piece of data).

weren't they out this time last year?

 

i remember us gettin the smoggies and the mackems for the first two games

 

nothing like a bit of inbred at the start of the season.

 

fingers crossed we get the mancs early on!

Put the fixtures in pencil when they are out, and the following week in biro after at least 7 will be moved.

Can I be the first to start the rumour that we are playing Everton/Man United/Chelsea away first game

 

It gets going every season

 

Its the 'leaked first round of fixtures' that come round every year that always makes me laugh.
