the itch on the inside arch of your foot

to be precise ,is just f***ing agony , I cannot stop scratching it , I had to take my sock off and give it a good scratch , that quite frankly made it more itchy so I took to the living room carpet and swirled around on one foot in the hope that the carpet burn would quell the flames of itchiness . That didn't work ,I got more desperate I then found the nearest object which was a pen and scratched with that , then I scratched my foot on the edge of the door and the computer table , my now last resort is using a hairbrush which is helping ,I will put it back in the bathroom so noone notices

but god there has to be an easier way ,why is it so itchy there?
