Guest Scot Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 what a fecin game that was Cant' do things easy can we, boring Liverpool Wish we could...I'm f*cking exhausted
Benitez Posted May 13, 2006 Author Posted May 13, 2006 tell me bout it! I'm worn out Fecin madness this team. I love em.
Romario Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 I honestly can't believe we won that. Everything seemed against us. I'm knackered. What a bloody team.
Benitez Posted May 13, 2006 Author Posted May 13, 2006 lol at Rafa dropping the cup Gooooooooooon Reds! FA cup winners 2006
Guest Anders Honoré Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Once it went to penalties I knew we'd pull through. well done reina, you beaut.
_00_deathscar Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Sometimes I really do wish we'd do things the easy way.....
JonShar Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 My neighbours called the police twice, they thought I was killing someone in here. Tell you what, I've never run all the way around my house before. I did after that 35 yard piledriver from Gerrard, I'd already resigned myself to defeat. What a fecking game!
CaptainXabi Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Momo Sissoko should never be allowed to leave this club. I'm declaring Vieira as the prototype for Momo and I don't care if I'm laughed at. Well done Momo And Stevie, seriously, that was just ridiculous today. He's grown into a great captain. Reina, you're back my good books son
ZZZZ Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Momo was great again. A terrific season. He kept them at bay during ET. Sami was huge also. Cisse looked our most dangerous player, and has to be complemented for his display and how he carried on even though injured
libero Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Sometimes I really do wish we'd do things the easy way.....You and me also....My kid reckons the reason I have grey hair is because I love the Reds and get myself worked up.She may well be right after days like today.
Cooldude Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Those saves were f***ing superb True sign of a great keeper is when he makes howlers and don't go back into his shell and hide, he had almost the worst game he's had all season, yet still pulls some superb saves outta his ass He seems to have a good knack at guessing the right way at penalties
Romario Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 After 15 minutes of Sissokos first friendly I thought "feckin hell where has this guy come from" Our best signing in years.
Gomez Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 I have to admit, after his blunder in the first half, I was really begining to worry that Reina was not a big game keeper. James was a perfectly good run of the mill keeper who always failed when the pressure was on. Sander and Dudek had proven themselves but this was the first time we've had Reina in that position. F'k me did he prove me wrong.
ZZZZ Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Its the ground he covers in the middle, momo. He is worth two players. No opponent is left with time on the ball with him there. he set up mori in deep et for the winner when almost every other player could hardly walk.
CaptainXabi Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 A special mention to the Kaiser as well. It should be written into his contract that he start cup finals.
Benitez Posted May 13, 2006 Author Posted May 13, 2006 Momo is a freak of nature. Amazing he is. Never mind signing of the season, bargain of the season. As for Pepe, chooses this game to have his worst and his best all in one go At least the guy has guts, that save at the end was amazing, that save start of the 2nd half was great as well. And the penalty saves where out of this world. He's great.
Cooldude Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 The Kaiser was alright, ain't he, since he came on, we controlled the midfield (Which we didn't do for most of the game) and West Ham didn't have much of a sniff. Alright, they were a goal up, but still. Another perfect penalty from him, too, he went to the left in Istanbul and this time it's the right, both of them inch perfect. What's it with Germans and penalties
Benitez Posted May 13, 2006 Author Posted May 13, 2006 A special mention to the Kaiser as well. It should be written into his contract that he start cup finals. Oh i dunno, he's quite good coming on as a sub! Also, what a cool kaiser he is. 2 penalties in 2 massive cup finals, cool as you like, slots them away.
_00_deathscar Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 A special mention to the Kaiser as well. It should be written into his contract that he start cup finals. Yea - no one's mentioned that yet. What a legend... Wonder where Huyton Red is now...?
CaptainXabi Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Oh i dunno, he's quite good coming on as a sub! Also, what a cool kaiser he is. 2 penalties in 2 massive cup finals, cool as you like, slots them away. And the best part is he's s**** at them otherwise. The man's a legend. Oh, and Momo's passing today. Magnificent. How did he improve his passing so immensely in two months?
Lee W Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 The Kaiser was alright, ain't he, since he came on, we controlled the midfield (Which we didn't do for most of the game) Good point - the defensive, stiffling all-passing Hamann helped change the game. Again....
