He’s probably only being mentioned as a potential replacement for Mac Allister if he goes to City. I think we will probably sign another winger but unfortunately think it will be Sarr.

I’ve heard some rumours of William Gomes at Porto. Never seen him play or even heard of him so no idea if he’s any good or not.

Honestly I wouldn't, not because he’s actually worth nothing I just don’t think he improves us and signing him at 28 and giving him a 4/5 year contract would be mad. I’d rather play Szoboszlai there and try for Rayan in January.

To be honest I wouldn’t even take Sarr on a free transfer. So yes, I want another winger but don’t see any point signing one that doesn’t improve us.

That is true but there are levels of disappointment the thought of Frimpong and Sarr on the right side of the team fills me with dread. It’s what id expect to see at Nottingham Forest.

28 year old Luis Diaz can’t get a new contract but £50 million for 28 year old Sarr no problem.

I don’t particularly rate Minteh but I’d rather spend £80 million on him than £50million on Sarr.
