It's weird all our players seemingly want out, Trent, Konate possibly Mac, yet Arsenal players can't wait to extend with them. Was really shocked Saliba extended for example thought he'd be nailed on for Madrid.

One important factor in all of this is the emotional impact Jota’s death may have had on the squad. I agree but the only way out of this is confidence from winning matches and the 'easier' the fixture the better. I'm still sure under different circumstances we go into the next 3 games and win them with the squad we have.

How does he turn this around and does he have time? Ordinarily dropping points away to City for example is a strong possibility but don't feel he's got that manoeuvrability now...it's a must win. He really needs home fixtures against Wolves and West Ham.

He actually is currently first choice for them on the left wing and it wasn't meant as a criticism just that we could do with better. Gakpo isn't as good as Diaz who in turn wasn't as good as Mane.

I’ve never quite understood the argument that a player isn’t suited to a particular league. It often seems to come down to assumptions about physicality being too demanding. But take Wirtz, for example, he’s taller and heavier than David Silva was, so it’s clearly not just about size. The real issue, which I do agree with, is more about mentality and the willingness to engage physically. That’s not a limitation, it’s a choice. And it’s one that can be developed with the right mindset and coaching.
