Count the number of Mancs on this board against the number of regular scouse posters on the caf. Well outnumbered me and OM are. BTW I am on here because I was invited when the board first opened so stick that in your pipe and smoke it. Also, if you look at the number of posts in all that time that I have made, you will see I am not that obcessed. Look, I think we are all in agreement here that we both have scum following our teams, especially the hardcore that travel to away matches. I think we should also agree that we both sets of fans on here generalise, which we shouldnt. Just like no one on this board has ever been involved in Booing your team and ex manager, throwing stones at ambulances, threatening players who want to leave or throwing s*** at United fans, None of us United fans on here get involved in any of the bad things assosiated with our club. I think we all just want to support our club.

Andy, I am sorry mate, but you have a real problem. You remind me of a lad we had on our coach in the 80`s. When he saw opposition fans, he shouted and screamed and kicked it all off and started a charge. But when the fighting got underway he just slinked off. He would spend the rest of the journey bragging about what a great rumble it was. We hated him in the end cause most of us didnt want to know that s*** and were sick of getting caught up in something he had kicked off. I think you and RedMist need to get a life. For your information, the Shankly song was composed on our coach for the 84 semi final against you lot at Goodison. Oh and before you get moralistic, as we went into the ground the cops were taking our flags as well as flagsticks off us. They didnt take your lots, so it looked like a semi final at your end. Oh and guess which flag had pride of place in the front centre? Yep, the Munich 58 flag. Tell me chaps? When and why did your lot stop singing that song?

Cool

We are rivals. Thats all we are. We are all people who just like football and have an intense dislike of the others team. But thats as far as it goes for most of us. The people involved in the mentioned incidents from both sides are not normal. They should be removed from supporting football. I could post a picture of fans celebrating a goal. All have happy faces. If you could not see any shirts or colours you would not be able who they supported, if they were scouse or manc

The difference between different commentators
NWR replied to NWR's topic in General Football Discussion
Re the Richardson incident, I argued with my partner by phone that the ref was a c*** for booking him. When I saw it that night, we looked at each other and both agreed straight away it was a booking. Thing is we all talk football in the pub, and can be made to look stupid when you argue about something you heard on the radio and then you see it on tv and its nothing like they said. I know Green is a Liverpool fan, but I do like him. -

Question. You wouldnt happen to be A@A would you? You post like him -
I listened to the United v West brom game on the radio while I was driving south the other day, then later watched the game on sky (Where you chose your own game and see an hour of it). Three incidents stuck out clearly and made me realise that you can get a different perspective on a game depending on who is commentating. First Allan Green was adamant United should have had a penalty for hand ball. He said he had watched the replay and it should have been given. On sky, it was hardly mentioned and they didn?t even show a replay. Second, Allan green was convinced Richardson had got the ball and it wasn?t even a free kick, let alone a booking. I saw it and he never got the ball and deserved a yellow card. Thirdly, United second penalty claim when Saha was brought down. Once again, Green was adamant it was a penalty, and once again sky didn?t and I cant remember a replay. Radio 5 made out Ronaldo had a fantastic game, but from what I saw he didn?t. It just goes to show. Have you noticed this in other games?

'30 to 50 Chelsea fans invade pitch' (Source: BBC Website)
NWR replied to Andy @ Allerton 's topic in General Football Discussion
Yes. 13pts off Chelsea as Gallas caused it. -
Do you think Gallas will be blamed for the fighting on the pitch yesterday?
-
Not sure if this is another apology, saw this yesterday. Dont hold your breath for one back. Fans of all club are the same, well a minority at each club.

Taken from RC Liverpool make fans apology Liverpool have apologised to Manchester United for the behaviour of their fans during last month's highly-charged FA Cup tie at Anfield. The club and Merseyside Police have carried out an investigation after a number of incidents where United fans at the Anfield Road end were attacked by home supporters. There was one incident of human excrement being thrown towards United supporters as well as coins and food being aimed in their direction. Liverpool stadium and operations manager Ged Poynton has written to United admitting standards of behaviour had "fallen short" of that expected. Poynton added in the News of the World: "We hold our hands up as a club. We deplore what certain fans have done. "I use the word coward very reservedly but I class anyone who wants to throw a coin or something else when they are leaving as cowards. "I am ashamed to admit in one case excrement was thrown. How low can you get? We did what we could, we tried to brush people down and compensate those involved." Tensions between the rivals had been running higher than usual going into the February 18 match - won 1-0 by Liverpool - after a controversial end to a Premiership encounter between the sides the previous month. United's Gary Neville had run to celebrate in front of Liverpool fans after Rio Ferdinand headed a later winner at Old Trafford. The cup tie was also marred by a section of home fans taunting United's Alan Smith after breaking his leg late in the match. http://www.teamtalk.com/teamtalk/New...096101,00.html Sorry about the typo in the title.

NWR replied to Bootle Buck's topic in General Football Discussion
Yes mate. I just could not stop laughing at his reply. Thought I would share that with you. Its like me saying when Robbie was in his prime, He is crap and I would never want him playing for us. Silly really. Or, even dafter, we are crap in midfield, so its like me saying Stevie Gerrard is crap and I would not want to see him in a United shirt. Now how daft is that? -
Web sites are found by searching for words and combinations of words. What did you type in to find that site? Should they have named it www.thejamieturnerappeal.co uk ? How many hits would that get?
-
This site had 5 European cups at the top of the page> is that a cheap shot at the resident mancs? I am sure you will find some justification for it. Maybe its just the fact that Liverpool fans are proud of their teams achievements? Maybe us manc "scum" are proud of the fact that we won the treble? Who knows? Maybe we do like to take a dig at you lot about the fact you have never won a treble with that combination of cups? So what? Its football is all. You generalise and say we are all scum. Was the victim of the thread scum as well? Did he deserve what he got?

Slur Alex tells RVN to sign new deal or Feck off
NWR replied to Bootle Buck's topic in General Football Discussion
You have to laugh. RVN scores for fun. If he signed for your lot he would score 20+ PL goals a season. Most of you would give your left testical to see a Liverpool striker score that many. Over the last few years your managers have spent a lot of money on so called prolific goalscorers who turn out not to be able to bring that ability to the PL with them. Ruud is better than any of them by a country mile. -

Liverpool would never sign him. He is a proven goal scorer. -
Isnt that what I said?????? Repeato!
-
...and back at ya.
-
Liverpool have got to third this season without any strikers. United have got to second this season without a midfield. I keep hearing "If you gave Ruud and Rooney to Liverpool, then they would be right up Chelseas backside. Well I say give us Gerrard and Alonso and we would be top.

Or... if your an older genuine Chelsea fan....loyal?

Its a s***hole

Must be very noisey with a capacity 6000 crowd. I can see your reasoning
-
Ok thats your opinion. I remember the first time I got in Old trafford. My mate ( A scouser and Liverpool fan) told our parents we were at each others houses and got a train to Manchester. When we got inside it was just fantastic, the sight, the noise, the smells ( Very early 70`s) The greeness of the pitch. It was really something to behold and I was hooked from that day on. We all love our own grounds, our people and teams. That feeling never leaves us. But we are all biased. Old Trafford can be very very noisy and colourful, but it can also be very quiet. Same with Anfield. Anyway, other grounds you have looked at in awe....
