Are you talking about some United fans saying "You have not won the PL"? That is something said by kids and idiots when its said in a serious tone. Just to clear one thing up here. Here is another bone of contention that will be greeted with abuse. Another thing you see posted on here a lot is this smug sentence ? Mancs seem to think Football was not invented until the nineties and the introduction of the Premier League. Well I say that in a way, you lot are just as guilty, but you think football was invented in the early 70`s twenty years earlier. Most of the people who post that stuff are too young to remember the 70`s and know your history through video?s and books, just as a lot of our fans only remember or have known the PL. Being an old git, I remember Shankly (?Smith get out there and cripple that striker?) You see, before that period, United and Liverpool had won 7 Championships each (I think) but United had a European Cup success as well ( Ohhhh Man United, the only English team to win the European cup) ( I used to love singing that. Later to be changed to the First. ) So your domination began in the 70`s. Just because you think the Football League started a mere 20 years earlier than most of our fans do, it only makes you slightly less arrogant than we are. Preston fans think the league started in the early 1900`s and went out of business around the war time.

Pathetic really. I mean one thing I have noticed about life on a football forum is they are full of people who claim to be above the thug/moron/hooligan level, yet when presented with something they dont like they instantly resort to abuse. Not really. Read once that the hacks try not to write about things like throwing bricks and s*** or stuff like that because you have a knack of flooding their offices with letters and emails of complaints. I tend to believe it because I have seen it happen on this board many times. Someone starts a thread and says they have emailed a complaint and before you know it there are a hundred replies saying "email sent"

Ok mate. We have both said our piece. I wish I could watch the games like you do, cause it bloody hurts me like hell when England get knocked out. Anyway, on a good note, I get redundancy (Been trying for 3 years now) on the 13th June and so I will move down to Hertfordshire in time for the England v Sweden game. My partner is a united fan and football fanatic like me (met her on the Caf), so I am looking forward to this WC. It will be the first time watching one where the little lady does not moan about "Football again? You watched one game earlier...." Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
