  1. Coutinho has been great. Pack it in
  2. BR: “I picked a too aggressively offensive team from the start and we struggled. When I put an extra body in midfield, we looked better." Hooray. Don't do it again
  3. This Is Anfield ‏@thisisanfield 1m BR: “We don’t need to bring any more defenders in. We just need to get some of our players back fit." No defenders then What, non existent?
  4. The valuations things is curious Young Centre half nowhere near Sportings first team - £6m Champions League Clubs best player and full international - £8m

  17. Is right lad, stick to your crazy guns
  18. I am thinking ----------Mignolet ---Skrtel--Toure-Sakho Sterling-Allen-Gerrard--Johnson ------------Henderson --------Sturridge--Suarez Thinking is Sterling at right back worries me because of the aerial threat, but with three at the back this shouldn't matter Johnson left change might be as good as a rest. If not I will give him an actual rest/operation when Enrique comes back Henderson in the hole offers an extra man in the middle if necessary, but he also links up well with Suarez Agger comes back in when fit, for Toure Coutinho off the bench gives us a genuine attacking move, which we never have. Although saying that I would start him at Bournemouth, and he might be boss I might change my mind on all of this on tomorrows walk
  19. It was by myself and it was along the front. You know me so well I had a lot to mull over (Only footy stuff like, I'm not gay)
  20. You said 'bench him for the rest of the season" don't be backtracking now and pretend to be a reasonable person FWIW I had a think at lunch time whilst having a walk, and am warming to 3-4-1-2 for a bit
  21. I think we will lose him if we do that, and I don't think it is wise or necessary to do that every game Balance can be achieved with both him and Suarez in the team, we have done it earlier in the season playing 3-4-1-2, or a 4-4-2 with Henderson wide tucking in
  22. I was thinking about this before actually. It has kind of gone out of fashion, but Villa played it well at the weekend Negatives I could think of where - It users all of our fit central midfielders - Relies on full backs heavily, who are out of form - f***s Sterling again But obviously lots of positives too!
  23. I know what he meant!
