Cant help but feel that if we sell Coates, and not loan him out, that it will be a big mistake. From what I've seen of him so far at Liverpool reminds me of the start Agger had. Nonchalant on the ball, not physical enough and not up to the pace.

Di Natale would be one of my main targets, no idea about his contract situation, but an old head, lightning quick (for his age) & a deadly finisher. Was s***ting myself when he got subbed on in the UEFA against us and he nearly sent us packing. Seems like a proper pro that takes care of himself and wants to play too.

Unless we spend £100m successfully there is no realistic chance of us challenging the top 3 before a ball is kicked. The manchesters and Chelsea are far richer and more attractive then us, they will strengthen & probably widen the gap. Can always hope we'll find some inspiration and will perform on an unexpected level, but being realistic getting to challenge for that 4th spot is going to be a battle itself.
