Like for most of our players this season should be forgotten, Skrtel and Agger had a very good season, Johnson, Enrique, Suarez and Lucas considering his form at the time had good seasons. Guess you could throw Bellamy into that group considering he wast bought as a 27 year old starter.

Thing is theres a lot more quality to pick from if you look over the border, and you tend to get more for your money. Apart from Garry Mac... who has had a greater (if any) impact on our teams the last 10 years from the British Isles compared to that of foreign buys? "Some of our best buys last summer were, such as Bellamy." This is a joke right? We only bought 2 foreigners, 1 for the future and Enrique has had a better season then Bellamy, even if hes been more or less crap since January...

It would look stupid not letting him go after the season considering how little playing time hes gotten over the season when you look at how much he brings to the table compared to others that's gotten way more minutes. One of the more questionable decisions made this season.
