I genuinely cannot see any complains you'd have about the song. Like I said it's boss. It rhymes , it's catchy and it shows the high regard we hold Torres in. Whats not to like?

Surely you mean this thread , otherwise I could point you in the direction of some ludicrous claims by some other posters. I agree with Kaizer to an extent. Most teams would build there side around Alonso , can you imagine Milan not playing Pirlo because he's immobile? Alonso has fantastic position , his awareness is a pleasure to watch , his passing is wonderful and his range is unmatched. It's no secret that Gerrard tends to perform with Alonso in the side as does Mascherano and since I don't think the Masch Gerrard partnership is all it's cracked up to be , it's imperative that Alonso stay and play. Part of me thinks we're only having this discussion because of two poor games where the rest of the team was also horrific.

Bulls*** , Mascherano was 40 yards up field and had let his man go. He failed to track Harper's run and Riise and a few others got sucked into the ball but had Masch went with his man this simply would not have happened.

When I saw the team sheet , thats exactly what I thought. Aurelio and Pennant from the wide areas to feed Crouch , Gerrard to play off Crouch's knockdowns and the Immortal Torres to bombard them. Snorky , thats the most sense I've seen you speak.

I have and we have enough "nearly" players without signing him. If we're going to challenge for the league next season , theres absolutely no need to sign him.

I'm fairly confident Wenger would love him and Fabregas in the middle. He does not lack the ball retention that makes Arsenal tick and his vision and range of passing are unmatched in this country. He's certainly better than f***ing Mikel. 1st season- Awesome 2nd season - f***ing quality 3rd season - quiter but still more Motm than all out players and he was still pretty boss 4th season - Good so far. Unless Madrid/Barca or any other top side offered 25m , selling him would be stupid , inexcusable and a mamoth backward step. In a team where passing is shocking and vision lacking , I'd of thought Alonso would be treated like the second coming.

I find myself asking a question. How can I take a man who does not have Kuyt fever seriously? Kuyt put in more effort on wednesday in about 20 seconds than Kewell did over how ever long he was on the pitch. One's a disgrace to Liverpool and one just should not be given as much game-time as he's currently been given.

I'd go as far as to call him this clubs best ever player.

When he's fit I'm sure he starts for Spain. He's the best passer in the league , has so much composure and his awareness is second to none. He has one flaw and its his mobility and as the poor mans version of Alonso , Micahel Carrick, proved last year it's not as important as people think.

They don't come much better than him. He's the classiest player in the side and a pure footballer. I'd of thought Alonso was very low on a list of our problems seeing as he'd get into any side in the world (bar Milan).

Well he did win the CL with as poor a side that has ever won the thing.Worth about 16 months mor ein my book.

I'm gonna side with Fletch. To be honest I find it hard to take anyone who does not have Kuyt fever seriously.

More and more I've been noticing hate campaigns against Kewell at Anfield. People complain about Kuyt but Harry Kewell is a far far bigger problem.

I'm of the opinion that Gerrard is the top player in the country. I'm also of the opinion this team is much weaker when he's played in the centre alongside Mascherano. Frankly I couldnt give a f*** if he is "Stevie me" or "Billybigb******s" as long as he plays well then don't care. As for the arguement about him not being a leader , it would not be a big deal if we had players with balls but unfortunately since we don't , we all look to get that bit more out the captain.

After yet another lacklusture showing , we're all getting restless. I can understand the frustration at the manager but I'd like to ask serious questions of the players. They're all on a lot (a lot) of money and yet everyweek the come out , go into hiding and go through the motions. Frankly i'm sick of it and sick of seeing a bunch of ball-less players go out and deliver the same inept performances. Kewell , benayoun , Auerillo, Crouch , Riise and theres plenty more , any chance you boys could play like you've got a pair? I honestly cannot recall such gutless displays , I can handle defeats , I can handle being outclassed , I can handle the occasional of days. What I cannot handle is players who are clearly not giving 100%.
