Absolutely. I don't support Rafa to the same , almost concerning , extent you do but he cannot make the players do things. The fact we could all name about 10 players who are giving anything less than 100% is a disgrace.

It seems most of us are of the belief that the players are robots that follow Rafa's instructions to a tee and thus it's his fault if they don't do their job in a specific game.

Kewell was horrific and has been for ages. Babel , who was having his best game for us and showing signs of coming to terms with the winger role, should have stayed on as he hd already created a goal.

No. He lost the ball a lot but not to the extent he normlly does , he beat the full back a lot of times and looked likely to set up another. Oh , he was also up for it unlike his fat replacement.

We can never afford to lose a player of his quality. Although I think I understand what you mean but the Gerrard-Masch partnership is shaky and un-balanced and I much prefer Alonso in there with one of them. I think it'd be disastrous to lose him.

Dont agree with you. Alonso was good/decent today. He understands what it means to play for Liverpool and has the quality and if you consider theres around 12 other players who don't match both of these criteria's selling Alonso would be at the bottm of the to-do list.

1st off thats not true and any ways which make Troare,Baros and Dudek vital members of a CL winning side have to be worth keeping.

That would describe every other Babel performance since he joined us but not todays. He was getting at the full-back hitting the bye-line and looked our most dangerous player. Babelgoing off infuriated the crowd , confused our players and lifted theirs. Kewell being his replacement made me angry. Very angry.

Under most other circumstances I'd certainly agree with you. This , however, was not the 1st time where only 3 players where actually trying and playing for the badge. Thats unacceptable. Just unacceptable. If Booing is the way to vent frustration this one time then I think it's okay. The players cannot be allowed to think that their allowed to perform like that as they have done for 3/4 of this season.

Him being "slow" and unable to tackle would surely be shown up everytime he's up against a top winger as he was against Ronaldo and as he was against SWP then J.Cole on saturday. Franklyto claim that one of the top 10 sides in the world would persist in a LB who "cant tackle" is nonense. While his shooting is indeed woeful and he does hoof the ball far too much , his crossing is text-book and some of the finest in the land. His positioning is very solid , he's good in the air , he's quick and he reads the game fairly well. He has stamina and is often at his best in big games ,for these reasons he's the best LB at the team and arguably the best in the league. However, if we can get better than him , we should but with the lack of quality LB's that don't play for Barca , we'd find it very difficult to replace him.

He was the greatest of them all.
