  1. Yeah, he's right, they were superb, but Bradley treated like a dog here.
  2. They should re-sign Gabriel Jesus for the one game on Sunday so his face can sum them up.

  9. Plenty of examples in posts further up with masses of flags all over the Kop. Showing one subjective exception from a time before the tradition was established doesn't alter the point.
  10. I'm not talking about the big one that gets passed along either. It's the waving of flags on poles for a few minutes before kick off then it's "Right, time's up. Time to pack up the show.". And as for seeing, there was never an issue back in the day with flags being waved all over the Kop during a match, it's what we did, particularly on those "famous European nights at Anfield". It was the whole experience. It's all becoming so corporate.
  11. I'm not talking about the quality of the flags, none of it is spontaneous anymore, it's just staged then removed at kick off
  12. This sounds like a home game for Ireland.

  14. Fantastic stuff back in the day when we had proper flag displays, not regimented and manufactured token flying of flags before a match before they're gathered up and taken out, and teams coming to Anfield and suffering the roar of the crowd has become far too infrequent, so I'd say the stadium expansion is a case of *be careful what you wish for".

  17. There is this snippet: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cwyge1587e5t?post=asset%3Af48d8dec-bae5-46f9-bac9-4adb02a978ae#post But, yeah, generally speaking, the media and authorities have automatically jumped on the "antisemitic" bandwagon, whilst utterly ignoring the context.
