I think its time to make a change get rid before the damage to season is permanent. Bring someone else in with a bit more experience there are failings that Rodgers is not addressing another manager will come in and make the hard choices and also address some of the basic failings. I think this job is too soon in his management career and we need someone to sort the issues out. Fair enough he may not be entirely responsible for signings but he is responsible for coaching,team selection and tactics and its not working out.

We shouldn't have been so quick to sell without a replacement lined up - I fear we have shot ourselves in the foot this window getting close now to start of the season if sturridge is out for a prolonged period we will struggle to score. Lambert is no Suarez.

feel like the the club should now discourage players from taking part in international tournaments - they take all the risk if a player gets injured and now the punishment for how a player behaves whilst involved in one of these tournaments. This is more than a punishment on the player its also punishing us both by the loss of the player from potentially 3 months of the season and also porential earnings losses from competitions or even the transfer of the player. Hope the club don't meekly accept this.

the model we seem to be working to is more a case of identify/develop up and coming young players and then sell on for profit this is how they will get their money out of the club in the short term - till they get the club into a shape where it can generate a profit through a sale (most likely when all the approval has been gained for the stadium upgrade) how the team does in the meantime is incidental to them. They can talk about aiming for this that and the other but its all talk. We fall further behind the teams in front with each transfer window that passes

looks to me that arsenal are now in the process of tearing that model up. it hasn't really been working for them the last few years

only 1 of those players we sold to our domestic rivals at least we had the sense to move the others abroad Now we are actively participating in the strengthening of our competition. They have no interest in building a winning team on the pitch and as Flight says they are in it purely for the bottom line.

I agree with this FSG are betraying the principles that the club was built on and turning us into a feeder club

wonder if luis suarez and by extension the club have any recourse for legal action against the FA aren't they in effect libelling Luis Suarez?

so if as the council say that it will take 3 years to approve redevelopment then if they work on a stand per season it could be 7 years before completion? Can we afford to wait that long?

not a big poster on the site at all but do follow avidly whats going on and was reading about how these questions were avoided. I have an idea which maybe expensive I don't know but why not take out a full page ad in the nationals and put the questions to Purslow and the club in it. That way the questions are asked in the full glare of a media spotlight where all supporters, sponsors etc get visibility.
