    It's defo best to assume they will, but just saying that nothing is a given in a title race, especially one this close. Mourinho is showing signs of cracking which could help us intangibly, whereas there seems to be a certain calmness in our camp.

    I can't understand it though. Surely he must have realised that this would all come back at him at some point. Not that I'm complaining of course. Contrary to Bob, Ferguson is a nasty piece of work. We all know that, but I just don't get how he could have been so stupid to appoint/recommend a manager whose CV wouldn't even be under consideration at any other 'big' club.

    It'll get very interesting when the attention finally switches to Ferguson. Maybe he'll update and re-issue his latest book with a chapter called "Build it up and Knock it Down" or "Sorry Jose".

    I'm quite surprised Ferguson isn't receiving a bit more negative attention in all of the fall-out. Ultimately, and regardless of Moyes' shortcomings, this is Ferguson's deal. It's amazing he didn't recommend (or rather appoint) Mourinho.
