  1. Yes, yes of course - thanks for that. It's just an absurd concept and I'm sure we would have to have our own people do it.....not our MD via Skype.
  2. I doubt if Ayre knows what Skype is, and if he did I doubt he'd be able to negotiate the tricky task of entering a username and password. He's probably just offer the username and hope Skype let him in.
  3. I would assume the only 'complications' are the payment terms and any financial add-ons.
  4. Natalie Sawyer's in the Skysports building. Complete with Disco-Pants.
  5. Spouting utter sh*te no doubt.
  6. Ayre's waiting for a call-back from Dunkin' Donuts CEO to see if they'll lend us some money towards the deal.
  7. FNN saying all should be clear tonight.
  8. Gerrard-stylee.
  9. Bigger than Ayre ?
  10. I don't but he's called a few things right. Just a one-man NewsNow really though.
  11. That Indykaila bloke on Twitter says the player wants a move to us. Not if Ayre can help it of course.
  12. "Contrary to reports the Reds head of recruitment Dave Fallows has not travelled out to Dnipropetrovsk and managing director Ian Ayre is believed to be handling negotiations, although not in Ukraine." Metro Please no.....
  13. Like Strauss co-commentating on the cricket. Painful.
  14. He can't shut his trap either, which just compounds the monotony.
  15. Why ? Have Chelsea stepped in ?
  16. Blame Ayre :)/> .....and Gravy.
  17. £19m on Keane, £17.5m on Johnson, £18m on Mascherano, £20m on Torres etc. etc.
  18. Don't disagree - all three parties are responsible in some manner. There's no single point of failure.
  19. Rafa was backed in the transfer market - you can't just say he "wasn't given the money".
  20. I have no idea, but if Ayre is negotiating new signings questions need to be asked, and it appears Rodgers is telling the fans it's not his fault. It's difficult to apportion any blame on the owners who have backed the manager since he arrived. What confuses me is the reference to only buying players for the first XI when we spent the best part of £15m on 'ones for the future' in the summer.
  21. That's hardly a revelation though is it, given that 3 of those clubs are continuously bank-rolled by benefactors. We may not be in the same league as them financially, but Rodgers has still had £65m to spend in the last year (£37m net). One of our problems is that we've got £35m worth of players on loan at other clubs. We don't seem to be maximising the use of our budget.
  22. Lucas looks semi-excited too
