Brutus the barber

the team from the capital of Spain has received an offer from Liverpool estimated at 25 M €, which was rejected. It seems, therefore, that those interested in the Argentine soccer should raise their offers for him if they want to make his move.

We have offered 22.5 mil for jones !

I like the kid, in kenny I trust :-)

There was a hint of sarcasm in there from the post headline, personally I loved his football heart and will never forget him running down the touchline after scoring... That's what I would of done :-)

Mascherano dedicates victory to liverpool fans

He is like the Suarez of left backs, silky skills and a swagger to go with it... If this is true I am a happy red :-)

Thank god Anelka is not keen on a move to lfc... We don't want the t@t anyway

Adams and Anelka will come in if Torres is sold I reckon But Anelka will be such a let down for me 10 years ago he was good when he was last here not now.. Only benefit is he knows the prem

He is going... That is the only conclusion, if king kenny was still there trying to convince the little sh@t to stay then maybe but bye bye nando thanks for the memories but everything changed for me on fri evening he lost my respect and the person I idolised was no more

This says it all: In another twist, leaked minutes from a Liverpool board meeting allegedly contain Hicks making personal and abusive comments about Liverpool fans, which will increase the hatred already felt by the supporters against the current owners. Umm the fu**ers can rot in hell

Quote from ESPN: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/feature?id=830710&sec=england&cc=5739 Underperforming Liverpool stars may be wise to take note of another trait, which has been a further key component of the Sox's success: ruthlessness. Following a heartbreaking loss (to the Yankees) one game shy of the 2003 World Series, manager Grady Little was fired. The following year, a poor first half of the season led to one of the team's star players, Nomar Garciaparra, being traded. Shortly after the World Series win, Boston opted not to renew the contract of Pedro Martinez, arguably the greatest pitcher in franchise history. What do they say about the quite ones!!

NO chance of Torres going, he is playing hard ball with the owners to sell up and move on or risk pi**ing off the loyal fans by selling our best and biggest assett, he has done this before and I believe his thinking is this is last chance saloon for the current owners to sell. With the news the RBS loan extension runs out in the next few weeks as well as the pressure the fans are putting on the owners, I honestly believe this time the openess of the people in charge are telling the truth. LFC FOREVER p.s. We do need some positivity on this forum, I am getting well depressed!!!

For me keeping the top players, excluding masc, is critical... Pellegrini will have a better chance than Hodgson in doing this. Oh and he is way cooler and we need someone different not predictable.

Is this geeza back in for us?

Probably true before the speculation started but now all you get is dodgy website stories!! for the first 15 pages :-)

To have somethig positive happening to the club has the be good I guess, so bring it on... Will Rafa stay or should he go now?

Allot of talk about this guy buying out the yanks! good news or bad news? Is he loaded?

Just wondered if anyone knew if Liverpool have a mascot or if we dont, why have't we got a mascot?? My son wanted to know.

Very true... Going back to Alonso, For me he is history, even though he will always have a place in our hearts, and we have to look forward and it is by no means the end of the world he obviously was not happy and even with the fans, players and the manager coming out and saying how we all want him to stay, if your hearts not in it then GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!! My intuition tells me everything will turn out good for us, Silva, Cattermole and Aquilani and I will be a happy boy.

Spot on, he is not a creative midfielder he is virtually identical to Massa in the way he plays, I see Cattermole as an addition to the squad and British which is definately a good thing all around and then we go after the lad from Roma - Alberto Aquilani, he is quality and I am preying we get him. Silva anyone?? has this story gone quite??

Do you have any news on who we are close to signing, now the spanish squad are coming back??

Brilliant :-)
