Anyone know what Nandos goal celebration was all about??

Totally agree

Talk sport have said he has been registered for the CL next stage and Rafa has said he is staying and will be at LFC after tomorrows deadline for transfers. The bottom line is if we are not replacing Keane for another player of similar quality then I am glad he is staying.., if Torres is injured again (please God dont let it happen) what have we got, Kuyt, Babel and NGOG come on that is not good enough to challenge for the PL even with Gerrard firing on all cylinders. I for one am glad he is staying, there are obviously issues but I hope he comes good and makes us all eat humble pie... wasn't the CL registration deadline the 31st? i could be way off here Yes your right, it was the 31st Jan

Liverpool daily post... I hate their chubby cheesy yankey faces!!! http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/liverp...64375-22758952/

Fabio Capello has confirmed he will name England's next captain two days before next week's friendly versus Czech Republic. The England boss has rotated the skipper's armband as part of a policy that will see him announce the permanent captain ahead of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers. Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is reportedly the favourite to land the role, although he faces strong competition from the likes of Steven Gerrard and John Terry. Capello will confirm the appointment prior to England's final friendly before they take on Andorra in their first 2010 World Cup qualifier. Qualification "I will announce the captain two days before the game," said the Italian. "I will speak with the captain just a moment before I tell the rest of the squad, then everyone else will find out." Capello also expressed his confidence that he will lead England to South Africa following the country's infamous failure to qualify for Euro 2008. He added: "We are a very good team. "It is always the same. For us, the opponent is not important. The important thing is what we do. "We will qualify for the World Cup. We will be in South Africa. I am sure of it." http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/sport/articl...to=newsnow& Quote "To find the money, Liverpool needed to provide the bank with a guarantee that funds to cover the move will be raised during the remainder of the close season." Cant believe this is true?

Keane is quality and Dossena has potential without a doubt.. I have to agree with the others and we already have 3 or 4 players in our team that are simply not good enough i.e. Pennant, Veronin Lets look at it with our eyes wide open: Defensively: A - strength in depth and look to have 2 quality players in every position Central Midfield A - strength in depth with Plessi looking really good in my eyes and the ability to play a number of different formations (great options with or without Barry) Wingers - C+ - we have some donkeys and this is worrying, watching us last year and in the friendlies they all cut inside because they have no pace. Strikers - B+ (potential to be A with Babel stepping it up and Keane and Torres partnership jelling) Priority: We need a quality right winger with pace

Barry transfer to go ahead?? http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/0500liv...-name_page.html

I believe once we get Barry and i think we will 1 way or another then we will get more guarenteed funds after we have qualified properly for the Champions league proper! maybe enough for a winger say Reira?

Personally I would like to say thanks to Elisha for getting this news to us so early on...

Does anyone have any pics from training at Melwood this week?? there was a link the other day but the images have been removed!!

They have the ar*e... 2 key statements that say welcome to Anfield Mr Keane "However, when a player's head is turned and their commitment is absent, particularly when they occupy key positions such as that of striker, they become a negative influence in a team dressing room in which they were once a positive addition and influence." ""This is the situation we now have on our hands, with both Dimitar and Robbie having made it clear that they wish to leave for Manchester Utd and Liverpool respectively.

It must be true :-) http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-f...00252-21364236/

I am sure this has been on here already but here it is again anyway... WHAT A LEGEND :-) Pepe, I am so glad you are LFC....

Amazing story.... BIG respect to him for having the strength to stick at it and get back in the team.

Enabling work means the foundations for the stadium are prepared for the structure to be put onto. Basically, dig a big whole and fill it with sh*t loads of cement!!!

ARSHAVIN, PODOLSKI OR VILLA? Is it normal for the official site to promote rumours unless they know something we dont?? http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N...080624-0944.htm

I believe allot of the stories about us not having money for this player or having to sell another player to buy another is made up by spin doctors within LFC. Makes sense, when we were first got taken over by the yanks all of the players we were interested in all of a sudden got a few 0's put on the end and we didn't play ball!! simao, alves etc.... They make out we are skint to make sure the prices are not inflated, like every player Chelski are linked with!! I believe, although we dont have endless amounts of the green stuff and Rafa hates paying over the odds unless it is a Torres kind of quality, we could see some surprise purchases before the summer is over. Barry, Bentley, Reira and Villa are not out of the question... ohh let their be a God and make him have 5 stars on his sleeve and a liver bird tatooed on his a*** :-)
