My thoughts exactly. He has job hopped so far, not stayed for any extended period, and he probably needs to build a more solid history of acheivement. He can wait for Madrid and Spain. And then retire in his mid fifities.

Given that the plan is ( I believe) to have an ongoing fund to build a portfolio of banners, I am sure they will be interested. I will point them to your suggestion, but if you want to mail me your contact details, they can then get in touch directly. I suspect ( but am not representing them) that for the first one, there may have been a hesitation over "offshoring" it and that local production was a requirement, in order to meet the very tight deadlines to release the beast for the Benfica home game.

It wasn't at all the focus of my post Dave and I wasn't comparing, just listing some of the ones that I particularly dislike. But from your perpective, I'm interested in why you feel "there is no comparison"? The point for me was about taking some personal responsibility, based on where your personal threshold lies. I have seen people talk about "crossing a line" and I was indicating the types of songs that do that for me. I would still shout abuse about rooney being a fat b******.

I can only take a personal stand, as I did in Lisbon: Anyone (whether close friend, someone I see at games regularly, casual acquaintance, never seen them before) who sings the variation on the Riise song near me, or Munich songs or Shipman songs, will be told that I don't like it. If they don't like that, then that's just tough for me eh?. I'm not prepared to stand by and just ignore it. I'm not interested in what the mancs, blues or Chelsea sing as an excuse. We have each got to set our own standards and be prepared to stand by them. Or alternatively just carry on ignoring it or even joining in if that is your personal standard. Kev is right, this is only going to get worse and someone or more will get hurt.
